This document shows how to Faculty Listing for your web.

WiscWeb CMS Standard Template Content Classes - Faculty Listing

Faculty Listing

Faculty listing: To add

  1. Open the Page

  2. Click on Manage Center Blocks

  3. Click on Create and Connect Page

  4. Click on Faculty Listing

  5. Enter the name of the list in the Headline Area

  6. Click OK

  7. You will see a gray box that is the main area for the faculty listing. Click on the Red Dot next to Edit configuration

  8. Enter the title for your faculty list in the text area

  9. Click OK

Now to add people:

  1. Click on the Red Dot next to Manage staff list

  2. Select Create and Connect Page

  3. Enter the name of the person that this page will reference

  4. Click OK

  5. You will be returned to the List page and you will now see a link with the name Doe, John A. Click on this link. Faculty Listing Post Person Add
  6. You will be taken to a new page - Click on the Open Page Red Dot in the upper left hand corner

  7. Click on the Red Dot next to Edit Person Info

  8. Select an Image for the person, either from the CMS Select Asset From Local File System or from your local desktop.

  9. If you would prefer no image click Cancel.

  10. Add the data for the person's listing in the appropriate fields.

  11. Click OK

To add additional information about the person:

  1. Click on Manage Center Blocks at the bottom left of the screen

  2. Select Create and Connect Page

  3. Select the type of content you want to see here - usually it is a text area

  4. Enter the name of for the content area and Click OK

  5. Click on the Red Dot next to Edit Text Area

  6. Enter the data you want and Click OK

    Finished Faculty Listing
  7. The person page will now be completed, in the upper right hand corner, click on the Back To New Page link ("Back to Faculty and Staff" link?)

  8. You will now see this name in a list format. You can repeat the above steps to add as many people as you would like.
