WiscWeb CMS - Photo Carousel Content Class
This document shows how to use Photo Carousel on your website.
WiscWeb CMS Standard Template Content Classes - Photo Carousel
The Photo Carousel content class displays a set of images in a banner layout usually placed at the top of a page, typically a site's homepage. The content class includes settings for the transition effect used as the images display, the length of time before the transtion occurs, and captions for the images. If you have not seen a Photo Carousel on a website the CMS Standard Template Demo Site has one on its homepage.
NOTE: The Standard Template has predetermined widths for its left/right side and main column areas and an optimum height for images used in the Photo Carousel. Your images need to be edited (scaled, cropped, etc.) to fit within these constraints (in pixels):
- With a column on the right or left side, images should be 733px wide by 205px high.
- Without any left/right columns images should be 958px wide by 205px high.
The height can be easily adjusted if needed (contact CMS developers at firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you use a Photo Carousel content class on a custom CMS web site, the CMS developers will have configured the Photo Carousel expecting specific width and height values. If you require help in determining these values, contact email@example.com.
