ASQuery

ASQuery

What?

ASQuery tracks flows to/from campus by BGP AS.  Key fields are day and AS.  Based on this, you can determine the max value and timestamp as well as daily average per AS.

Samples

  • Today by origin and path AS daily averages
  • Or maybe some stats on social media are more to your liking?

  • Usage

Stats are available by total, ipv4 or ipv6.  As of 2012/08/10, IPv4 is hidden by default to make the table smaller.  Additionally, as of 2012/08/10, output [egress from campus] and BGP PATH path is hidden by default to make the table smaller as well.

The 'AS' box takes an AS number or a text description.

    For search rules, see: https://kb.wisc.edu/ns/page.php?id=25536#mysql_search

Clicking on column headers sorts by that column.  Click twice to switch between ascending an descending sort order.  You can also sort by time and by values by clicking a dataset column first followed by a time column.

If graphs of the AS are available, there will be a hyperlink displayed in the 'as number' column labeled 'graphs(s)'.

If information about the subnets behind that AS are available, there will be a hyperlink displayed in the 'as number' column labeled 'subnet(s)'.

A link to the peering DB is provided as a courtesy; it is not an indication of whether or not the AS has valued peeringDB info.
