L&S Gift Management: Overdrafts on fund 233 gift accounts
This document contains instructions and expectations for L&S departments/programs regarding overdrafts on fund 233 gift accounts.
L&S Departments/Programs must monitor the balance of their 233 sponsored gift accounts, and resolve overdrafts. Small overdrafts on 233 accounts may be acceptable in the short-term, but they are expected to be cleared quarterly.
Options for clearing overdrafts include transferring charges, or transferring more funding from UW Foundation:
