What is an NCI CIRB study?

NCI CIRB Frequently Asked Question

An NCI CIRB (or CIRB) study is a clinical trial for which the National Cancer Institute’s adult or pediatric Central Institutional Review Board (the “NCI CIRB” or simply “CIRB”) serves as the IRB of record. The NCI CIRB provides centralized IRB oversight for a select menu of NCI-sponsored oncology studies.
