Why is the NCI CIRB emailing me?

NCI CIRB Frequently Asked Questions

UW-Madison is expanding its use of the National Cancer Institute Central IRB (NCI CIRB) as the IRB of record for eligible NCI cooperative group studies opened at the UW.

The UWCCC has provided the NCI CIRB with contact information for principal investigators and research staff to ensure that all UWCCC personnel who may be involved in CIRB studies have access to necessary information. Personnel on that list are receiving emails from the NCI CIRB’s Operations Office that include a username and password for the CIRB’s online IRBManager system and the secure area of the NCI CIRB website.

If you have received an email from the NCI CIRB and believe that you do not require access to the CIRB’s online tools, please contact Mike Bingham in the UW Health Sciences IRB Office.
