Graduate Admissions: Graduate Application Status Check
Brief overview of the Graduate Application Status Check web page
The online Graduate Application Status Check (formerly OASIS) is a web-based application which applicants can check their admission status online. Each day at 7:00 a.m., Status Check will automatically send out an e-mail notification to each applicant whose application was successfully uploaded to ISIS the night before. Student Status Check uses a separate database from GWIS, thus updates to GWIS or ISIS will not immediately affect OASIS. It will take at least one work day for the updates to propagate to ISIS and then to the Status Check.
Each applicant will receive a personalized URL (web address) which he/she can access with the campus ID. Special URL links to different resources are shown dependent whether the applicant is domestic or international.
When you access the Graduate Application Status Check via GWIS, you can see certain information which is not available to applicants. For example, in the Academic section, you will see the ISIS action codes and descriptions in the Status Description column. For the applicants, they will see only the "user-friendly" version of the action descriptions edited by the Graduate School.
To access the online Graduate Application Status Check, go to the applicant's datasheet/profile page or the customized program action table.
