Wireless UWNet - Connecting to the wireless network in Gordon Dining and Event Center
This article will walk you through how to access the internet in the Gordon Dining and Event Center.
To start you will want to make sure you are connected to the "UWNet" wireless network.
Then open a browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari.
You may be directed to the registration page automatically. If not, try to navigate to a non-wisc.edu site.
The registration page will look like what is shown below.
If you have a UW-Madison netID and password, choose the first option to log in with your netID and password. You will be taken to a page that looks like what is shown below.
After you enter in your netID and password you should have access to the internet.
If you are a conference guest or a guest who is just visiting who does not have a UW-Madison netID, then you can register as a guest. To do so choose the "Request Guest Access" option on the main registration page. You will be taken to the page below.
If you are having trouble accessing the internet after registering, try to close or quit out of the browser and then re-open it.
If you have any issues connecting to the UWNet network please contact the DoIT Help Desk at (608) 264-4357, available 6am to 1am, 7 days a week.
