The L&S Curriculum Audit (DARS) in relation to the Undergraduate Catalog

The L&S DARS will adhere to the published requirements listed in the Catalog

The Undergraduate Catalog is the official publication of L&S degree, major and certificate requirements. Requirements published in the Catalog are approved by the L&S Curriculum Committee and implemented in the L&S curriculum audit (DARS) by L&S Academic Information Management (AIM).

As the document of record for graduation, the L&S curriculum audit will adhere to the published requirements listed in the Catalog. Requirements published elsewhere (e.g., departmental websites, advising handouts, etc.) will not be a basis for DARS implementation, modifications, or academic exceptions.

L&S academic programs should work with AIM to verify that the expression of program requirements in the Catalog is semantically consistent with the auditing of student completion of those requirements in DARS.
