Example Email to applicants-Campus ID
This is the email applicants receive after they submit their application. It gives them their campus ID, and instructions on how to activate their NetID through the MyUW portal.

You can check the status of your application through My UW at
https://my.wisc.edu. Under the "Student Services" tab at the top, select
"Grad Application Status" from the drop-down menu. If you are new to
My UW, please click on "Activate my NetID". You will be asked to enter
your date of birth and your Campus ID Number: [ Campus ID Number ]
If you were previously issued a NetID you will not need to activate it again.
If you cannot remember your password or are unable to log in, please contact the
Division of Information Technology (DoIT) at 608-264-4357 for assistance.
The status check may not be available from 2:00-3:00 am US Central
time due to daily updates.

If you previously attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and
have a valid WiscMail account, all future Graduate School emails will
be sent to your WiscMail account. To check the validity of your
WiscMail account, go to https://my.wisc.edu.
