Learn@UW (UW-Madison Only) - Accessing Learn@UW Courses in My UW-Madison after Semester's End
This document describes the Learn@UW course end date and links for the end of a semester.
After the close of a semester, the course resource list within My UW-Madison will no longer link to that semester's Learn@UW courses. This means that you will not be able to navigate to your Learn@UW courses through My UW-Madison, but will instead need to go directly to the Learn@UW login.
The course instructor may have chosen to prevent students from accessing their course after the close of a semester. If you do not see a desired course, please contact the instructor to change the course end date.
The absence of links to Learn@UW courses in My UW Madison does NOT mean that students no longer have access to their courses; it only changes how they navigate to their courses. Access is controlled by the course End Date. Instructors have access (by clicking on Edit Course) to change this End Date to meet their needs.
- At present we have no method for archiving or exporting courses.
- Therefore, instructors will have continuous access to all their courses for the foreseeable future.
- Student access to the course ends on the date set in Edit Course. Instructors are free to change this date.
- If you want to begin reworking your course for use in a future semester, you should request a new course space https://learnuw.wisc.edu/forms/d2lrequest.asp as a reoffer.
