Learn@UW - Determining if Your Quiz Attempts Have Been Submitted

A student can check to see if a quiz attempt has been submitted by selecting the Quiz tool and looking under the Attempts column by the name of the quiz.

If a red asterisk is present by the number of attempts the student has made, the quiz has not been submitted, and the student should select the quiz to continue taking it and then press Submit. If no asterisk is present, the quiz has been submitted.

For example, 1* / 3 means the (first) attempt is in progress but has NOT been submitted (where 3 attempts are allowed) while 1 / 3 means the attempt has been submitted.

Students are encouraged to press the Submit button only once after taking a quiz and use the above method to check for quiz submittal when it doubt whether the quiz has been submitted. Multiple pressing of the Submit button after taking a quiz should be avoided.
