Office 365 (Outlook on the web) - Using Outlook on the web Light

In addition to providing a more simple and easy to use interface, the light version of Outlook Web App is optimized to work with browsers that don't support the standard version of Outlook Web App, computers which are on low bandwidth connection, or users who are looking for a more accessible client. See Supported browsers for Outlook Web App for more information.

Note: besides using Microsoft Outlook on the web, which gives you access to your email/calendar/contacts via your browser, you can also use desktop email programs to connect to your account. Desktop clients can be full-featured or they can offer only basic features, such as email and --- sometimes --- contacts. Clients that connect using POP or IMAP offer basic features. Review the following page to decide whether to use Outlook or Outlook on the web.

If the normal version of Outlook on the web does not provide the necessary accessibility features, we recommend you try the light version.
