Certificates - Undergraduate - FAQ: Must undergraduate certificate requirements be encoded in DARS?

Yes.  Course requirements for an undergraduate certificate program must be defined discretely enough so that the certificate requirements can be encoded in the Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS). The requirements for completion of the certificate should include specifically defined, regularly offered courses that are applicable to all students that are pursuing the certificate.
