Office 365 (Outlook 2013 | 2010) - Disabling Spam Filter

Important: By February 2017, Microsoft will no longer push any updates to Office 2013 suite of applications. Please see the following document for further details: Office 365 - Microsoft Office 2013 path to retirement.

This document provides step-by-step instructions on how to disable your spam filtering in Outlook 2013/2010.

Note: When setting up Outlook 2013/2010 in a brand new install the spam filter will be turned off. However, the instructions below applies to those who configured their client-side spam filters prior to transitioning to Office 365.
  1. Open Outlook.

    Open Outlook

  2. Select the Home tab.

    Select Outlook Home tab

  3. In the Delete section of the task bar, click on the Junk drop-down menu, then select Junk E-mail Options... .

  4. Under the Options tab, select No Automatic Filtering.

  5. Click Apply, then OK.

Your spam filter is now disabled.
