Outlook 2010 | 2013 - Saving Attachments

Important: By February 2017, Microsoft will no longer push any updates to Office 2013 suite of applications. Please see the following document for further details: Office 365 - Microsoft Office 2013 path to retirement.

This document will provide guidance on how to download and remove attachments from Outlook 2010/2013 emails.

Note: The images below are from Outlook 2013 - but the steps will be the same for Outlook 2010.

Save Attachments

  1. Open Outlook 2013/2010.

  2. Double-click on the message with the attachment you would like to save. The message window will open.

  3. Click on the Actions drop-down menu, select Other Actions, then click Save All Attachments.

  4. Select OK in the Save All Attachments window.

  5. Select the location to save the attachment(s) and click Save in the Save Attachment window.

    You have now saved the attachment to your computer.
