Learn@UW - Recent Changes to Content Topics Not Seen When Viewing

When viewing a Content topic, it is possible that recent changes made with the HTML editor are not seen. These changes are seen when you view the topic several minutes to a few hours later.

To resolve this problem, do the following depending upon your browser:

Internet Explorer

Change your settings for temporary Internet files:
  1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
  2. Select the General tab.
  3. By "Browsing history", press Settings.
  4. Under "Check for newer version of stored pages" select Every time I visit the web page.
  5. Respond OK to close the dialogs.

Firefox

Firefox automatically checks for newer versions of stored pages as long as you have not explicitly directed your browser not to do so.

However, it is still possible that recent changes to a Content topic made with the HTML editor are not seen. This is a known issue with Firefox.
