Issues installing more than one ImageNow Printer on a single workstation

When a user logs in to the Perceptive Software desktop client after the client has timed out they may receive a minimized looking toolbar that is not usable.

To avoid this, desktop clients should log out of the client when they will be using it for over 30 minutes. In the event the client does time out for lack of use, the user will need to close the client completely and then restart the client before trying to log back in.

Lexmark provides instructions for installing multiple image now printers (here a local KB):

A file needed to install a second image now printer on a single workstation "SetupImageNowPrinter.exe" is not installed with the ImageNow client ver 7.1 build 378.

The needed file to complete the instruction in the referenced KB is available for download at the link below.

For folks just needing a standalone way to convert documents to pdf, they may also try installing the ver 6.7 ImageNow Printer and using that.
