UW-Madison Box - Inviting Multiple Collaborators
This document explains how you can add and invite multiple collaborators to a Box folder at once.
- Note: If you are not yet familiar with the basic process of inviting collaborators to a Box folder, please see the following Box support article: Getting Started: Collaborate with Your Team
Normally, you have to enter collaborators to the Invite Collaborators field individually, however, if you want to add multiple users with the same access level to a folder, it is possible to copy and paste a comma-separated list of email addresses directly into this field. When first pasted, the email addresses will not be recognized by Box, as shown below:
Once you have pasted the list of addresses, enter one additional comma; at this point, the email addresses will be recognized and will appear in individual boxes that can be removed one-by-one. Note that this will occur for all email addresses, WiscMail or other, regardless of whether they are valid addresses.
Click Advanced options to change the access level of the collaborators you've entered. When you have entered everyone who should have access, click the Invite Collaborators button.
