Information resources available through this group require that the group member have an InfoAccess account (logon ID/password) and be authorized for the following data views:
University of Wisconsin-Madison mailing lists/labels containing the names and addresses of faculty and staff may be used for mailings distributed through the campus mail service or campus email servers when related to the official University mission and must carry the identity of the University unit, department, organization, or individual responsible for its distribution. The specific content of the mailing must be in conformity with University and State regulations governing the use of University facilities. Any violation of this condition may result, upon administrative investigation, in revocation of the right to use University mailing facilities or in disciplinary action, as appropriate.
University of Wisconsin System employees are subject to ethics rules covering use of university resources, conflicts of interest and acceptance of gifts. As a general rule, an employee may not use his or her university position to gain private financial or other benefits for the employee, the employeeÂ¿s immediate family, or an outside organization. It is improper to use university resources, including work-place internet access, email and telephone, for outside activities, including consulting, volunteering and politics.
