LabArchives: Log-in problems

If you receive an error message (such as No eduPersonEntitlement attribute error shown below) when you log in to the UW-Madison LabArchives service, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that you (or your lab/group's PI) has signed up for an account with the ELN service (at and the account has been activated. Individuals will not be able to access the UW-Madison LabArchives service until this step has been completed. For more information about who is eligible for an account see
  2. If your lab/group has already completed step 1, contact the ELN service team using the service contact form at: a description of the problem, including any error messages you see. An ELN Service team member will respond to your request within 1-2 days or sooner.
