Bio-ARROW - General Help - Determining Protocol Status

Bio-ARROW help

The status of your protocol is displayed in the yellow banner in the left side bar of the protocol workspace.  This status is called the 'Protocol State". Additionally, your protocol's progress in the review process is shown as a highlighted area of the workflow diagram in the workspace.

status

The displayed Protocol States are defined as:

  • Pre-Submission (protocol has not been submitted)
  • OBS Assignment (protocol has been received and a primary reviewer has been assigned)
  • In-House Review (protocol is being reviewed by OBS)
  • Changes Requested (protocol requires revision)
  • Assigned to Meeting (protocol is ready for IBC meeting)
  • Back to Reviewers (protocol is reviewed by IBC reviewers)
  • Training Needed (protocol is awaiting training completion prior to be approved)
  • Registered (protocol is approved)
  • Expired (protocol is no longer approved and the work must stop)
  • Withdrawn (protocol is no longer under consideration)
  • Rejected (protocol cannot be approved in current state and work cannot be done)
  • Archived (protocol is not active and is archived and the work must stop)

As the protocols move along the review process, the different steps will be highlighted in the workflow diagram. If action is required by the research team, that will be indicated on the left-hand side of the screen.
