Office 365 (Outlook 2016 for Mac) - Edit/Delete a contact

NOTE: This document applies to Outlook 2016 for Mac, released in late 2015. For information about how to complete this task using the previous version of Outlook available for Mac, see: Office 365 (Outlook 2011) - Edit/Delete a contact
You can add information about your contacts --- such as their birthdays and anniversaries, or the names of their spouses and children.

Edit a Contact

  1. On the Navigation Bar, click People.
  2. Double-click the contact you want to edit. Information for that contact appears in a separate window.
  3. Add or update information for the contact by going to the section of information you want to update then click the plus. Plus

  4. Once you enter the information you can add more or go to File, Save then close out of the window.

Delete a Contact

  1. On the Navigation Bar, click People.
  2. Right-click the contact and select Delete.
