EPD - eHelp - Technologies - Adobe Reader

Adobe Reader will be used to view PDF (Portable Document Format) files, which are used in courses and on many reference sites.


Adobe Reader is free software. In addition to Adobe Reader, Adobe Acrobat. Adobe Acrobat tools can be used to Review and Add Comments to PDF files with easy-to-use, enhanced markup and commenting tools, plus new callout and dimension line drawing tolls.


In the left-hand menu, select Get Adobe Reader. Take care: it may try to download a Google Toolbar or other software in the beginning. These are optional downloads.


Most problems are related to using an outdated version of the reader.  The Adobe Support website provides additional information and help about common PDF tasks and troubleshooting.
