EPD - eHelp - Technologies - Flash

Adobe Flash (.swf) is a compact file format for animation, sound, and video.

Adobe Flash provides additional features, such as 3D animation and interactivity for games and simulations.

Adobe Flash Plugin is necessary to play .swf files and some other interactive web sites.  You likely already have it installed, but it it important for security reasons to keep the plugin up-to-date.

Note: It is likely that Flash Player is already installed since it comes bundled with most browsers.

Setup and Test

You can test each web browser whether your Flash Plugin is up-to-date.  Follow the installation instructions on the Flash Player download page. Installation may require administrative access to the PC. For installation to succeed, all of the open browser windows may need to be closed.

Visit the Adobe Flash Tech Support Center to test content and access an uninstaller, if needed.
