  •  Useful Information About the Gradebook

    • You can choose to make only a subset of grade items visible to your students while hiding the others.

Personal Display Settings for the Gradebook are set at the user, not the course level.

When using a calculated grade item, be aware that it will not drop the lowest grade in a category, even if you have set the category to drop the lowest grade.

If you have attached release conditions to a grade item, you will see a visual confirmation that they are attached on the Manage Grades tab.

Here are some trouble shooting tips if you are having trouble getting your gradebook to load.

If you need to, you can access grades for students who have dropped your course.

Currently the gradebook's default setting shows the class average for a grade item to students in the class. You can change this default setting so that students only see their score and not the class average.
