Alumni Access to InterPro Community and Support site and select UW Systems

InterPro alumni who no longer have access to the old Moodle InterPro Community will need to create or re-activate their UW NetID.  This is typically for those who graduated before about Fall 2014.  Students graduating after that date now retain access to their UW NetID and some university systems and services.  See our InterPro Alumni Resources KB page for more information

Process for Obtaining UW NetID

The process for creating or reactivating your UW NetID is partly manual and needs to be initiated by an InterPro staff member. Please complete the online contact update form below so that InterPro Online Support can work with you to regain your UW NetID, and then get you added to the new InterPro Community & Support Site.

Complete the Online Contact Update Form

Process Overview

This is a multi-step process. For detailed instructions on what to expect, see Manifest - Respond to Email Invitations for New NetIDs (Manifest, SpecPop) . Once the online contact update form is submitted, an InterPro staff member will will add the contact information to the UW Manifest system that will send out the initial email invitation from manifest@doit.wisc.edu. We try to monitor the contact form, so you should receive the initial email invitation within about 48 hours. Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't see an email within that time frame. This email will be a guide through creating or re-activating a UW NetID.  For most alumni, you should say Yes, that you've had a UW NetID and attempt to reactive it.  Once this NetID has been created, you will regain access to a subset of UW systems and services, and be able to log into InterPro Community & Support Site and reconnect with your UW-Madison family!

For more information and additional questions about your NetID and systems access, please read more about Alumni Services that are available at InterPro - Online Learning - InterPro Credit Learners - Alumni Resources & Information.

Important First Things to Update

After alumni first regain access to the InterPro Community Site, they will want to update their community profile page and contact information, join their program group, and subscribe to any discussion forums.
