Updating Configuration in Citrix Receiver
How to update the configuration of Citrix Receiver to use the new application server.
NOTE: This is intended for people who have used Citrix Receiver before, using remote.cae.wisc.edu, who need to update it to access the new server. If you haven't used it before, please follow the directions here (Windows) or here (Mac)
1) Open https://remote.engr.wisc.edu in a web browser and log in.
2) In the top right corner there should be an arrow next to your username, click on it, and click activate.
This should download a file titled "receiverconfig.cr". When that finishes downloading, launch it, and it should auto configure your installation of the receiver.
3) In Citrix Receiver, you should see your username, in the upper right corner of the screen,with an arrow next to it. Click on the arrow and click on Accounts... (On a Mac, this will say "Preferences...")
4) You should now see a window like the following:
Click on "cae" and click remove.
From this point forward, you should only need to enter your username and password, and not the domain first.
