WiscVPN Mac OS X - Unable to reinstall Cisco Anyconnect

NOTE

This document explains how to fix an issue with Cisco AnyConnect on Mac OS X where the user is unable to reinstall AnyConnect after uninstalling by dragging it to the trash.

To fix this issue:

  1. Open the Terminal Application
  2. Type the following command into the Terminal and hit enter: sudo pkgutil --forget com.cisco.pkg.anyconnect.vpn
