Office 365 (iOS) - Sync Tasks in Apple Reminders

This document contains instructions on using a non-Microsoft email client, such as Apple Mail or Thunderbird. Microsoft does not recommend these clients for use with Office 365, and there are often significant limitations in client functionality as a result.

Because of this, the DoIT Help Desk is only able to offer best effort support for these clients, and certain issues may require the use of a Microsoft client in order to be resolved. This document will explain how to access tasks from Office 365 on your iOS device through Apple Reminders.

Note: The instructions in this document assume that you have successfully configured your Office 365 account on your iOS device, if you have not please refer to the following document:

Accessing Office 365 tasks via Apple Reminders

  1. Open the settings on your iOS device and scroll down and tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

  2. Select your Office 365 account containing the tasks you would like to sync to your device.

  3. From the list below, make sure that Reminders is selected. Your Office 365 tasks should now appear in Apple Reminders.
