Office 365 (Outlook for Android) - Configuring the Outlook app

The Outlook app is the recommended way to use Office 365 on your Android device. Unlike the native email and calendar clients on your device, the Outlook app is fully supported by Microsoft. The following document will guide you through configuring the Outlook app on your Android device.

Note: This document covers the Outlook app for Android, not the OWA app for Android. The OWA app will not work with UW-Madison's implementation of Office 365 due to authentication issues. Click here for more information about the OWA app for Android.

Note: Please make sure your app is up to date and your phone is also up to date before continuing with the instructions provided in this document.

Important: This application uses UW-Madison's NetID Login system to authenticate you into Office 365. This is similar to all other UW-Madison applications which use NetID Login to authenticate.
