Office 365 (Outlook for Android) - Schedule an Email

This document will provide you step-by-step instructions on how to schedule an email using Outlook for Android

Although Outlook for Android does not work with Tasks it uses a feature called Schedule for reminding yourself to respond to emails. When an email is scheduled, it will be moved to a folder selected by you for a designated period of time, and then reappear in your inbox as an unread message with a clock symbol once that period of time is over.

To schedule an email:

  1. Swipe your finger from the left side of the screen to the right side of the screen on the email you would like to schedule.

  2. schedule an email

  3. Select a time period for when you would like to schedule the email.

  4. choose a time to schedule

  5. The first time you schedule an email, you will be asked to create a new folder to place scheduled emails, or choose an existing folder.

  6. Your email is now scheduled. If you need to access it before the time period is over, you will find it by tapping the folder you designated in your folders. Once the time you designated is over, the email will reappear in your inbox as an unread message with a clock.

  7. scheduled in inbox
