A subset of users may encounter an error when attempting to access the Personal Information app in MyUW.
When accessing the Personal Information app, some users may encounter the following error:
"An error occurred loading this content. Please try again."
We understand that this issue can be an inconvenience and apologize for the amount of time it is taking to fix.
The majority of the users affected by this issue are NetID eligible from a Special Authorization (SpecAuth), and the primary reason a user NetID eligible through a SpecAuth would need to access the Personal Information app is to update their preferred name. The Preferred Name app in MyUW is now live and can be used by most users to set their preferred name. For more information, see MyUW - Using the "Preferred Name" App.
