CEBC minutes October 13 2015
CEBC Meeting
October 13, 2015, 2:30pm.
Present: Jenny Dahlberg, Jason Jankoski, Carol Van Hulle, Russell Dimond, Ilia Guzei, Janet Newlands, Sharon Gehl, Ann Reynolds
Absent: Denise Zang
Jenny Dahlberg presented an update from recent ASEC meetings. CEBC discussed lifting the salary cap for Category A senior and distinguished titles.
Jenny Dahlberg presented an update from the ASA meeting. CEBC presented its plan to ask that salary caps be lifted on all Category A senior and distinguished titles and asked for feedback from the assembly. The assembly was in favor of the plan.
CEBC members suggested that salary caps be lifted on all Category A titles to avoid confusion. Russell will send clarification to Office of Academic Affairs.
3 CEBC members are part of the ad-hoc committee on Rate and Title changes (Carol is on the committee in her capacity as an ASA representative).
The CEBC draft report was tabled until next month.
Jason will add benefit calculator to the list of resources on the pay portfolio document.
