MiFi Rental Troubleshooting (MiFi Jetpack 6620L)

This document goes over some troubleshooting steps for the Verizon MiFi 6620L.

A common "issue" with the MiFi Jetpack is an older computer may not automatically connect to the frequency that it is set to. The new device has the option to switch between 5.0 and 2.4 GHz. Some older models of computers can only connect to the 2.4 GHz frequency. To change the frequency, follow these steps:

-From the main menu go to "settings" and tap the middle button. On the next page go to "Wi-Fi" and tap the middle button (it should be the first option on this page). Tap the right button to go down one option to "band". Tap the middle button to change the frequency between 5GHz and 2.4GHz.
