Education Support Services recruitment responsibilities

1.  One-on-one engagement with prospective students. May include:
  • Outreach Events (trade shows, career fairs, lunch and learns, short courses, etc.)
  • Phone Calls
  • Emails
  • Presentations
2.  Participate in Marketing-scheduled recruitment events.

3.  Train staff to interact effectively with prospective students.
  • Workshops
  • Recruitment Handbook
  • Individual Staff Training
4.  Raise awareness of recruitment event opportunities (career fairs, trade shows, etc.).

5.  Work with the Division of Continuing Studies (DCS) on campus-wide recruitment efforts.
  • Members of the Advance Your Career (AYC) recruitment committee
  • Work with DCS and EPD Marketing to develop DCS printed materials to inquirers.
  • Work with DCS to learn and help implement Marketing Automation System/CRM recruitment functionalities in our department to manage and interact with prospective students
6.  Work with Marketing to manage promotional material inventory.
  • Alert Marketing when quantities are low
  • Provide feedback on the types of pieces needed for events and help to refine message for audience
7.  Work with Marketing to manage banner/tradeshow signage inventory.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on the types of signage needed to reach intended audiences or to fit specific space setups
8.  Provide feedback to Marketing from event attendees on Promotional Materials.

9.  Systems Support, as needed.
  • Shared Calendar
  • Event Registrations
  • iPads for event data collection
