ECMS - Imaging Service Recommended Scanners

This document provides a list of options for departments to consider when purchasing a scanner for use with the Imaging System.

To interface with the Imaging System, a scanner must use Kofax VRS or Paperstream IP software. The table below contains several scanners recommended for use by the DoIT Imaging Team.

Use-case: a low volume desktop scanner, good for smaller offices with little to no back-scanning and low scan volumes.

  • CaptureNow license: $1848
  • Warranty: 1 year advanced exchange
  • Service Package*:

    • Basic Next Business Day (NBD) Three year: $1000

Use-case: a mid-range scanner capable of handling higher volumes over time, good as a desktop scanner or scanner workstation in offices with medium scan volumes.
