iOS Device Return Checklist
The procedure to follow while processing an Apple iOS device return. We have been having some issues with returned iPads that have physical damage, missing power bricks and cables, and iCloud accounts still signed in. These issues are much easier and cheaper to remedy while the customer is present. Please let your staff know about these procedures and why they are important to the RMA process.
- Check the device for obvious signs of customer damage(scratches, gouges, cracks, etc)
- Does the device power on?
- Make sure that the device is unlocked and you are able to access the home screen
- Ensure that all included accessories are returned as well(power brick/lightning to USB cable)
- Select the settings icon
- Select iCloud
- Delete Account
- Confirm Deletion
