Computer Sciences - Administration - Wiscard
At UW–Madison, students, faculty, and staff are issued personal identification cards under a program known as Wiscard. This document provides directions for getting your Wiscard.
Wiscard is the official UW Madison identification card. This card comes with an identification number, which is used to activate a NetID; the NetID is the access code used for a number of campus internet services. The Wiscard is also the id card used to obtain other UW services such as library privileges and to use a discounted bus pass.
To obtain a Wiscard, employees and students must present a form of identification, for example, a valid driver's license or passport. New employees may obtain their initial card at no cost upon verification of employment. Lost, stolen or misplaced cards will be replaced at a non-refundable cost of $25 per card. The Wiscard office is located at Union South, Room 149, 1308 Dayton Street. Please find further information on the Wiscard Page.
