ECMS - Backing up Kofax VRS scanning profiles and licenses

When rebuilding or replacing a scanner workstation that uses Kofax VRS, it is important to back up certain files in order to facilitate a smooth transition.

The following Kofax VRS files should be backed up before rebuilding or replacing a scanner workstation:

Scanning Profiles:

The following folder contains .cps files. Each of these files is a scanning profile and should be backed up:

[drive]:\Program Files\Kofax\Imgctls\Bin\Profiles

License File

[drive]:\Users\<All Users> or <Default>\AppData\Kofax\Vrs\Kofaxreg.xml
