At no point during maintenance will NetID Login Service or Wisconsin Federation be unavailable.  SAML2 Login and attribute delivery for UW Madison and UW System will not be impacted.

IMPORTANT: A precise procedure must be followed by users of the redundant PHEXPP environment to avoid unexpected interruptions during planned maintenance to PHEXPP1 and PHEXPP2. Instructions for this procedure may be found at the following address: https://kb.wisc.edu/page.php?id=60684.

Please contact your appropriate Middleware representative or mst-servicedelivery@lists.wisc.edu if you have any concerns or questions about this maintenance.

If you would like to avoid unplanned database outages, your applications should be configured to use the PHEXPP database.  The PHEXPP database is a fully redundant system comprised of separate servers and databases with failover protection, such that users will be able to reconnect immediately to the secondary PHEXPP database should the primary database go down unexpectedly. PHEXPP will not have to endure an outage should either one of the database servers become unavailable.  If you would like to discuss migrating your applications to PHEXPP, please contact your normal Middleware contact or email phexport-moves@lists.wisc.edu.

Impacts in ITE:

MSTTST, PHEXPT1, and PHEXPT2 - Data access to schemas on MSTTST, PHEXPT1, and PHEXPT2 will be inaccessible.

               - New Data will not flow through Person Hub to downstream IAA and UDS customers.
               - NetID and Service activation will not be available.

PHEXPP1 and PHEXPP2 - Customers of PHEXPP who have properly configured their client should see no impact.

GAMSDB - Manifest services will be unavailable.
