Why we keep computers checked into repair
An explanation as to why we keep computers in repair while they wait in queue instead of having the customer bring it back in when it's their turn.
When a computer is checked in to our repair team, it’s place on our check-in shelf while it waits for a technician to become available to work on it. We work on computers based on a first-in/first-up policy unless an arrangement for expedited service has been initiated by the customer. Unfortunately, we can’t let customer hang on to their computers while they’re checked into the support queue because it’s very had to tell the exact hour an agent will become free to begin diagnosis on the machine. Having the machine on hand allows our agents to perform most efficiently and provide the highest level of service for our customers.
