This document contains information about where a customer can park when visiting DoIT.
Effective Monday, April 6th, the Walk-In Help Desk will no longer offer onsite troubleshooting and laptop pickup. We will still provide distance support and checkouts via shipments.
General parking is available at Union South, located on the Dayton Street side. There is currently a circle lot with 10-minute parking and an underground parking garage, both of which are accessible from Dayton Street. Please contact the Wisconsin Union for more information on their available parking: http://www.union.wisc.edu/

Customers who wish to take the bus to the DoIT Help Desk on Dayton can consider the following options:
- Customers on campus are encouraged to ride Metro Route 80 (no fare required). Customers should get off at the Dayton at Orchard stop, located across Dayton Street from the DoIT Help Desk.
- Customers arriving on bus routes from the east should get off the bus at University at Orchard, walk south on Orchard street crossing University and Johnson Streets, turn left on to Dayton street and arrive at the Dayton street entrance to the Help Desk.
- Customers arriving on bus routes from the west should get off at Johnson at Charter, and turn right onto South Charter Street, then follow the "On-Foot Directions" above.
Customers traveling to the DoIT Help Desk by bus are encouraged to use Metro's route planning tool to plan their trip in detail.
