Can I use the MFA Duo service with HRS, SFS, and UW Business Intelligence?

HRS, SFS, and UW Business Intelligence require an additional step that includes in person identity verification.

Note: If you're already using a UW Digital ID issued MFA device (using the Symantec service) you will not be required to do additional identity verification.

For employees in divisions or departments at UW Madison that are already using Duo that are gaining access to HRS, SFS, and/or UW Business Intelligence but have not been issued a UW Digital ID token they can use their Duo token once they've had their identity verified.

To request identity verification please follow the instructions below:

  1. Log into the UW Digital ID application at http://uwdigitalid.wisconsin.edu/
  2. Click Request from the left hand menu
  3. Select the Identity Proofing option
  4. Verify our email address
  5. Visit an LRA with your campus photo ID and a state ID, drivers license, military ID, or passport to verify your identity
