Information on Tech Store Service Assessment
The DoIT Tech Store acquires technology for campus customers at a cost below retail price. In accordance with federal policy, we pass these discounts directly to you.
Expert consulting, comprehensive order management, technical support, and stocking frequently-needed products at our three campus locations are some of the services the DoIT Tech Store provides. In accordance with federal accounting standards and guidance, we pay for those services by applying a Tech Store Service Assessment to the price of the products we sell in our stores. The service assessment is calculated to recover only the costs of direct Tech Store expenses. The service assessment is reviewed annually.
