Storyline - Known Issue - Grade Auto-sync Doesn't Work

Storyline is an advanced content authoring tool that should only be used by technically inclined instructors or instructors who have local learning technology support staff. Please take this into account when deciding to use Storyline for the creation of course and assignment materials.

This document describes how the Storyline-WordPress to Canvas automatic grade-sync feature is now working.

    Even though users may have correctly configured grade auto-sync in WordPress for their Storyline module as described in Advanced Content Authoring and Reporting - Sending a grade from a Storyline module in WordPress to Canvas , grades did not automatically push to Canvas in November 2018.

    Affects

    This affects all users who have configured their Storyline module to use the grade auto-sync feature in WordPress.

    Status

    As of 1/11/2019, this issue is has been resolved. 

    Workaround

    A potential workaround for this issue is to manually push grades to Canvas as described in Advanced Content Authoring and Reporting - Sending a grade from a Storyline module in WordPress to Canvas .
