Cisco VoIP - Voicemail exceed capacity

This document discusses voicemail box capacity and warnings

A common reason that a voicemail account reaches capacity is that the deleted messages folder contains many messages. The messages in the deleted folder will automatically be deleted after 90 days. Another reason that voicemail box can get filled is the person doesn't realize that deleting email notifications of voicemail messages does NOT delete voicemail messages from the voicemail system.

For those that use the voicemail portal (Cisco VoIP - Voicemail Portal Sign in and Overview ), you can remove deleted messages through the portal: Cisco VoIP - Emptying deleted items in the voicemail portal .
