Occasionally it may be necessary to identify who prepared an expense report. For example, an alternate with delegate entry authority may have prepared an expense report for another traveler. If the expense report is to be returned or if the approver/auditor has questions for the preparer, they may wish to speak to the alternate directly.
To identify who originally prepared the expense report, an approver or auditor must do the following:
Click on Approve Transactions in the e-Reimbursement - Approvals quick links box.
Click on the link for the travel authorization or expense report in question
This will bring up the summary for the TA/ER in question. Look for the "Created On:" and "By:" sections highlighted below.
Note that the "Created On:" and "By:" fields will only appear if the TA/ER was actually prepared by an alternate. If these fields do not appear, the TA/ER was prepared by the traveler.
