The Hoofers Outdoor Programs Office is located in their new Mendota lakefront offices near the Memorial Union Terrace. Over the last century the Wisconsin Hoofers have brought on many more clubs and have a wide variety of outdoor activities. From sailing on lake Mendota to Skiing in Jackson hole, Hoofers offers the ability for you to learn many outdoor skills and partake in many different activites.
Hoofers is an outdoors organization comprised of six clubs
--Ski and Snowboard (downhill & nordic)
--Outing: includes Mountain and Road Biking; Backpacking/Hiking; Winter Activities; Camping; Canoeing and Sea Kayaking; Whitewater Paddling; Caving; Rock Climbing and more.
All members of the UW community and WI Union members as well as Madison community can join Hoofers.
Clubs conduct kick off meetings at the start of each semester and there are regular meetings during the semester. Membership fees vary by club.Events listings located on website in interactive events calendar.
Hoofers also hosts five teams. These include: Equestrian, Sailing, Alpine, Nordic and Freestyle.
