State Park with camping, swimming, canoeing, boating (electric motors only), fishing, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding trails, and mountain bike trails. Park has deep valleys and hills. Winter camping and sports are available. Camping reservations recommended. Concession stand with canoes, kayaks, and boat rentals. (Memorial Day through Labor Day)
Directions: from Madison take Hwy 18 west (Monroe St and Nakoma Rd or Midvale Blvd to Verona Rd; Verona Rd is Hwy 18) to Dodgeville, then north on Hwy 23.
